dawvyn winters
began dancing at age 11 in Tucson, Arizona. In her formal training years, she acquired knowledge from institutions such as Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Perry Mansfield, Paul Taylor Dance, and Houston Ballet.
Dawvyn quickly recognized her passion for choreography in high school. Her dance studio gave her the freedom to create her own solos for competitions. After winning multiple choreography awards, the studio employed her as an in-house choreographer, setting solos and group dances on her peers.
Dawvyn graduated with a BFA from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a major in contemporary dance and a focus on composition. During this time, she had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers such as Murray Louis, José Limón, and Aszure Barton. Dawvyn also performed with Jacob Jonas the Company in Los Angeles and at the Orsolina28 Art Foundation.
She is currently living in NYC as a freelance dancer, choreographer, teacher, and pilates instructor. She is excited to join eni artist collective’s inaugural season as a dancer.
